How Does RPET Fabric Production Work?
Step 1: Collecting PET Bottles
The first step in the process is the collection of PET bottles, which are often used for packaging beverages and other consumer products. The bottles are cleaned thoroughly to ensure they are ready for the next step.
Step 2: Shredding the Bottles
The bottles are then ground into small plastic pieces, called PET flakes. These flakes are carefully sieved, sorted, washed, and separated to prepare them for the next stage.
Step 3: Melting and Spinning
The PET flakes are melted and spun into fibers. Specialized equipment heats the plastic flakes to a high temperature and extrudes them into thin strands of fiber.
Step 4: Weaving the Fabric
Finally, the PET fibers are woven into fabric. This high-quality fabric becomes the durable lining for your leather bags.
